High Stool Aluminium Base H 74cm

The High Stool Aluminium Base H 74cm has been created by Signe Bindslev Henriksen & Peter Bundgaard Rützou for the brand Mater. The two Danish industrial designers work under the brand name Space Copenhagen. They have an approach to design that they call poetic modernism. Their goal is to blaze new trails by designing pieces that embody contrasting properties such as modern and classic, dark and light, and industrial and organic. Their unique maxims and abilities are well illustrated in the High Stool Aluminium Base H 74cm.It has a seat made of FSC®-certified beech that can be removed and replaced. The oval-shaped seat is upholstered in premium quality Italian leather. The legs on the frame, which is made of 100 percent recycled aluminum, are angled outwards rather than straight, thereby enhancing the stool's strength and stability. Towards the bottom of the frame, there are steel rods running along and across the legs to form an H-shaped footrest.
