The Festival Inferno Carpet Round has been created by Edward van Vliet for the brand Moooi Carpets. The carpet has a jovial design that has glowing fireflies and bright stars. It is this exciting design that gives it its name of Festival. The carpet's predominantly magenta background enhances this look and feel.
Something else that elevates the festive look of the Festival Inferno Carpet Round is the fabric it is printed on that is known as polyamide. It is a synthetic fabric that is a type of nylon. It makes images printed on it come alive because of how well it takes dye. Printing is done digitally using a Chromojet printer. It has computer-controlled jets that inject dye into the fabric with high precision and without coming into contact with the fabric. Additionally, the printer has very high resolution so colours come out with very rich tones and sharp contrast which gives images their lifelike quality. At the back, the carpet has a backing made of woven PP which is another type of synthetic fabric.
The Festival Inferno Carpet Round is available in two sizes. There is a smaller one that has a diameter of 250cm and a larger one that has a diameter of 350cm.
