Flock of Light 11 LED Suspension Lamp

The Flock of Light 11 LED Suspension Lamp has been created by Studio Toer for the brand Moooi. Flock of Light seeks to mimic the effect of a flock of birds as they glint in sunlight. And it succeeds brilliantly, using bronze wires and tiny LEDs to conjure up a magical effect which will enhance any space in the home.

The form of the Flock of Light 11 LED Suspension Lamp stands out straight away. Studio Toer have sculpted bronze wire into a complex bundle of curves, attaching brass cups at regular intervals to hold the lamp's light sources. Each cup has a polycarbonate diffuser attached as well, and together the various elements cast a glittering light in all directions, providing a warm, soft source of illumination that's sure to encourage relaxation and inspiration.

The Flock of Light 11 LED Suspension Lamp measures 80cm wide, 65cm high and 65cm deep, while the lights are suspended via a height adjustable 250cm cable. The whole ensemble weighs 0.9kg, while the lamp creates a brightness level of 2700K, with a lifetime of 50,000 hours. This model accommodates 11 bulbs and the lamp has built-in LED light sources that cannot be replaced.
