The Fiber Lounge Chair Upholstered Wood Base was designed by Iskos-Berlin for the brand Muuto.

Launched in 2006, Muuto is a Copenhagen-based label that takes traditional Nordic design ideas and redefines them using the latest techniques and an exciting range of materials. Its furniture works in both domestic and public spaces. Also based in Copenhagen, Iskos-Berlin is a studio owned by the successful design-duo of Aleksej Iskos and Boris Berlin. The studio's work ranges from graphics and furniture to industrial design and among its prestigious prizes is the Red Dot Design Award.

With its low outline and softly curved shell, the Fiber Lounge Chair Upholstered Wood Base is both pleasing to the eye and invitingly comfortable to use. The shell is moulded from an innovative blend of 75% polypropylene, and 25% pine wood fibres, giving a textured matte finish. Comfort is ensured with the choice of fabric and leather upholstery options. The wood base is crafted from solid water-lacquered oak. This is a chair that works successfully in both living rooms and bedrooms as well as in offices and hospitality settings. The Fiber Lounge Chair Upholstered Wood Base measures 60 x 74.5 x 69 cm.
