The modern Stone Wool Rug was designed by Diego Fortunato for the Spanish rug company Nanimarquina.

Nanimarquina was launched by Nani in 1987 driven by her passion for creating innovative handcrafted rugs that are designed to be enjoyed. The company works with designers from different countries around the world to offer beautiful rugs with designs that are influenced by various cultures. Through the use of biodegradable and recycled products the company strives to reduce its footprint on the environment. Diego Fortunato is an Argentinean born designer that likes to create conceptual pieces that tell a story. His timeless designs have earned him international recognition.

The Stone Wool Rug is available in various colour and size options to suit different tastes and requirements. It is made from New Zealand wool, which is soft and comfortable. The overall height of the rug is 20mm, while the pile is 14mm. Each tuft is hand knotted, which adds to the overall charm. The shape and colour of the rug is inspired by pebbles. It is suitable for most rooms within the home, and it can be easily mixed and matched with other rugs from the collection.
