The My Chair was designed by Nicholai Wiig Hansen for Normann Copenhagen.

Normann Copenhagen was established in Denmark in 1999 by Jan Andersen and Poul Madsen. The design brand epitomises modern Danish design, making the most of natural materials and improving everyday items.

The My Chair dining chair is a modern celebration  of the iconic mid-century shell chair.  In 2014 this dining chair won the German Interior Innovation Award.  Finished with a lacquered veneer, the chair celebrates the beauty of natural wood.  The main body of the chair is comprised of a single piece of wood which is moulded to form the seat and back rest, each with inviting circular edges and a narrow waist between. The four, gently A-line legs are fitted below. Ideal for minimalist spaces that would benefit from chairs that can be stacked, this item of furniture is equally chic in a public space, commercial setting or in the home. This now-iconic modern shell chair measures  48cm in width, 80cm in height, 50cm in depth and has a seat height of 44cm. Also available in the My Chair range is a bar chair and lounge chair.
