Product description

The Colombo 626/L LED Floor Lamp has been created by Joe Colombo for the brand Oluce. Italian industrial designer Colombo had an illustrious career during which he introduced many firsts, including modular storage containers, a complete kitchen in a box and adult seats made of ABS. His Colombo 626/L LED Floor Lamp is a showcase of the late designer's knack for turning everyday items into spectacular works of art.

The 1971 lamp has been revamped to include modern technology such as integrated LEDs. It has a circular base made of lacquered steel that holds a narrow, tube-shaped chromium plated stem. Close to the top of the stem is a lacquered aluminium reflector that projects light upwards. It is adjustable so it can be positioned to face the side or downwards and cast light in these directions. Slots on the reflector create a play of light and shadows on the wall when the lamp is on. The stem is also adjustable, so the height of the lamp can be altered, too. Light intensity can be set to preferred settings using the dimmer.

The Colombo 626/L LED Floor Lamp has a height of 205cm and a base diameter of 24cm. The lamp has a built-in light source which cannot be replaced.
