The Coral Reef Vase has been created by Norman Trapman for the brand Pols Potten. Inspired by the forms of tropical coral, this vase is a modern Dutch classic. Artfully sculpted and cleverly composed, it offers multiple locations in which to place flowers, creating dazzling arrangements for rooms around the home.
The Coral Reef Vase has been formed from glazed porcelain in accordance with Trapman's original design. It was initially intended to be both an evocation of coral reefs as well as a tribute to 17th century Dutch Delft pottery, a style often included beautiful vases for tulip flowers. Trapman's Coral Reef Vase continues that tradition, with various different sizes available. This is a broader version with a large number of openings, which will look exceptional with or without flowers.
The Coral Reef Vase is 40cm long and 16cm wide, with a height of 24cm. Each arm on the design has been assembled individually, and then combined to form the vase itself. This also means that each Coral Reef Vase is unique, with slightly different proportions - just like a real reef with its many shapes waving in the tide. Place it on window sills, tables, or sideboards, and add a touch of artistry to domestic spaces.
