The DSL 23 Bauhaus Floor Lamp has been created by Richard Döcker for the brand Tecnolumen. DSL was launched in 1923 and is seen as part of the influential Bauhaus movement. With clear lines and exceptional functionality, it showcases the simplicity and technical quality for which Bauhaus was known.
The DSL 23 Bauhaus Floor Lamp has a spherical luminaire which attaches to a slender column in a manner that resembles a traditional street lamp form. The luminaire has been made from opal glass while the frame is composed of nickel-plated metal. But when turned on, the frame recedes from view, allowing the luminous sphere to cast a mesmerising glow in all directions. It will supplement main lights or be an effective lamp for smaller rooms.
The DSL 23 Bauhaus Floor Lamp measures 200cm high and has a base diameter of 40cm. The main sphere has a diameter of 35cm, while the lamp connects to mains electricity via a 300cm cable. A single bulb is required and the lamp has an E27 socket. The light source is included in the delivery. Minimalist, adaptable and superbly effective, DSL 23 is sure to add a timeless touch to anyone's interior spaces.
