The S 5002/C001 2-Seater Sofa has been created by James Irvine for the brand Thonet. This is just the sofa for those seeking a comfortable resting place with a timeless style that doesn't go out of fashion.
The S 5002/C001 2-Seater Sofa is supremely comfortable. It has a backrest that is low which gives it a distinctly relaxed lounge look. There are two backrest cushions and two matching ones on the sides. The seat has a single well-padded cushion reinforced with springs to ensure it will not sag but remain firm and retain cushy softness. The designer defied the convention of four legs and made a chrome-plated steel frame to support the sofa. The Thonet brand is credited for setting the pace with the use of steel tubes for manufacturing furniture. The sofa has a sled-style frame that runs along the length of it. It comes out from underneath and goes upwards on either side where it goes into the side cushions to hold them up.
The S 5002/C001 2-Seater Sofa has a width of 206cm, a height of 77cm and a depth of 83cm. It has a seat height of 43cm and an armrest height of 68cm. It comes in a neutral, timeless grey.
