Lesestoff Book Shelf

The Lesestoff Book Shelf has been created by Ulf Seydell for the brand Tojo. Meaning "reading material" in German, Lesestoff is a wonderful place to store favourite books, reference works, folders, and even music or DVDs. Its slender profile and intelligently designed compartments make this wall shelf a suitable choice for homes and even office spaces.

The Lesestoff Book Shelf is composed of a flat panel with cut-out spaces to add books and folders, as well as a pair of base elements which anchor the design. The bookshelf is intended to be attached to interior walls, and the base pieces extend it from the wall slightly, creating room for items to rest without becoming unstable. The frame is made from MDF birch board with a white finish and exposed edges, and there are three separate compartments. Two are rectangular, while the middle space has a step arrangement.

The Lesestoff Book Shelf measures 105cm high and is 25cm wide, while it has a depth of 12.9cm. The base contains a connecting bracket which can be secured to the wall and installation should be complete in minutes. The result is a bookshelf which occupies minimal space, looks stylish, and puts reading material within easy reach.
