The Magazzi Magazine Rack H 160cm has been created by Alexander Schenk for the label Tojo. Named after the Italian for magazine, Magazzi is a creative spin on document storage. Based around stretchy rubber bands, this attractive and highly practical accessory will put the publications that matter within easy reach, all the time.
The Magazzi Magazine Rack H 160cm has a form which resembles a torpedo standing on end. The main part of the rack has been formed from MDF board, and Schenk has decided to add a pure white exterior coating. Reflecting Tojo' s house style, the edges of the board have been left exposed, creating a neat colour contrast. Five rubber bands reach around the body of the rack, and have enough tension to hold magazines or other documents securely in place. Just pick them out and ready them or slip them back in seconds.
The Magazzi Magazine Rack H 160cm stands 160cm high, while the footprint of the base measures 37cm wide and 48cm deep. The various sections of the body can be assembled in minutes without the need for specialist tools, and the cross-shaped base ensures that the rack will be stable and resilient, storing the magazines readers love for years to come.
