Hal Wood RE Chair

The Hal Wood RE Chair has been created by Jasper Morrison for the brand Vitra. It has a shell made of dyed-through recycled polypropylene. This puts it in the category of Sustainable Choice products.

The Hal Wood RE Chair has a wide backrest of medium height. Towards the lower edge, it broadens out to form a well-sized seat. The shell does not have any joints or nails holding them together. It is a singular piece made through a manufacturing process known as injection moulding. This keeps the chair's silhouette sleek. The shell is supported by a wooden frame. It is made of oak sourced from Poland. The wood has been shaped into round legs that are sturdy with gliders underneath to protect the floor. Rather than straight, they are slightly angled to give the base added stability and strength to hold weight.

The Hal Wood RE Chair has a width of 47.5cm, a height of 79.5cm and a depth of 51cm. Its seat height is 43.5cm. It comes in neutral colours. Padded seat cushions in matching colours are available for purchase separately. The chair can be stacked to a maximum of six chairs for easy storage.
